SPFG Timeline of Events

The table below outlines the Sustainable Poultry Farming Group’s (SPFG) timelines. The SPFG sends out five calls for proposals during a calendar year. Proposals; whether they be requests for funding or requests for letters of support are accepted throughout the year, but they are only reviewed at Board meetings. In effect SPFG has funding windows in February, April, June, September, and December which is when Board meetings are held to review all proposals. For consideration and review at a Board meeting, all proposals should be submitted prior to the first of the month in which a Board meeting is held.

Funding windows; proposals must be received by:

  1. February first for February Board meeting
  2. April first for April Board meeting
  3. June first for June Board meeting
  4. September first for September Board meeting
  5. November first for November/December Board meeting.

Have 3rd meeting of the year to review new project requests.

Review Financials and set date for AGM

Aug 1st to 30th Send out Call for Proposals
Sept 1st to 30th Have 4th meeting of the year to review new project requests and next year's budget.
Oct 1st to 30th Send out call for Proposals
Nov 15th to Dec 15th Have 5th meeting of the year and review all projects and new proposals
